Our Tier 420 series P1 Wire Lead SPD is available in 25kA/mode, 120V single phase, and UL 1449 Type 1 only. This is the smallest and most budget friendly SPD in the Tier 400 family. If this unit meets the technical specifications for a job, rest assured it has the same quality components as our larger Tier 400 SPDs, and carries the same warranty.

It features the same advanced metal oxide varistor(MOV) technology as our other Tier 400 SPDs. Its thermally protective, and arc extinguishing, design has a significant advantage when subjected to abnormal over-voltage and high fault current.

This unit has a watertight NEMA 4X plastic enclosure with integrated mounting brackets, and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

 

This non-Modular SPD is 25kA per mode/50kA per phase.

 

This surge protection unit only comes in UL 1449 location Type 1.
Sine wave tracking is not available on Type 1 units.

 

This model has 30 inches of #12 wire leads.

 

All units come with blue LED indication.
Status indicated by either the LED being on or off.
