Our Tier 450 Series Flush Mount Kit(FMK) is our NEMA 4X P3 Wire Lead SPD that is modified for flush mounting into a wall or cabinet, with a stainless steel face plate.
The kit has a stainless steel face plate,

modified mounting bracket,

waterproof overlay,

custom standoffs,

rubber washers,

and stainless screws.

The unit is offered with or without a counter window and matching overlay.

 

This kit is ideal for locations that frequently need to be cleaned with hoses, need units to be unobtrusive, and make cleaning around equipment easier.

This unit has a watertight NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure with integrated mounting brackets, the stainless face plate is also watertight with rubber washers and a waterproof overlay. There is no gasket for the outer edges of the face plate, a waterproof RTV or Silicone seal is recommended during install to maintain a watertight surface.

Please note, stainless steel is rust resistant, not rust proof. A basic level of preventative maintenance is occasionally required to prevent rust, such as a very light coating in oil.
Rusting on the face plate is not covered by our warranty, but is easily remedied by a light sanding and oiling.

 

This non-Modular SPD has models that range from 50kA to 150kA per mode.

 

You may select the UL 1449 location, Type 2 is the default, and the most common, selection. (If you are unsure of the UL 1449 selection you need, please contact us, we will be happy to help.)

 

All models have 5 feet of wire leads.

 

 All units come with form “C” remote contacts, two color LED indication, and a audible alarm with disable switch. Surge Counter is optional.
