Our Tier 450 Series NEMA 4X P2 Wire Lead is the most compact SPD in the 450 product line, and the smallest SPD in the Tier 400 Family that offers UL 1449 Type 2.

The Tier 450 P2 is a 25 kA/mode unit, and available in a wide range of voltage and phase configuration.

It features the industry's most advanced metal oxide varistor(MOV) technology, the same as our larger and higher capacity Tier 400 units.

Its thermally protective, and arc extinguishing, design has a significant advantage when subjected to abnormal over-voltage and high fault current.

This unit has a watertight NEMA 4X plastic enclosure, and liquid tight connector, with integrated mounting brackets and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

 

This non-Modular SPD model is 25kA per mode/50kA per phase.

 

 You may select the UL 1449 location, Type 2 is the default, and most common, selection. (If you are unsure of the UL 1449 selection you need, please contact us, we will be happy to help.)

 

All models have 36 inches of #12 wire leads.

 

 All units come with form “C” remote contacts, and two color LED indication.
